Can’t stop, won’t stop

While the Advocacy Council had recently submitted extensive comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding the 2019 Proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, the Advocacy Council hasn’t stopped there.

Senators Cassidy (R-LA) and Brown (D-OH) reached out to the Advocacy Council requesting we start a grassroots campaign. They asked us to encourage College member's senators to sign on to theirletterurging CMSto withdraw the proposed merging of Evaluation and Management (E&M) Codesincluded in the 2019 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

The Advocacy Council thencontacted each of the United State Senatorspersonally, asking them to sign-on to the Cassidy/Brown letter and support withdrawing the consolidation of E&M codes, while offering to work with CMS to develop a different solution.

The Advocacy Council is always working for you – representing the voices and best interests of College members as well as all practicing allergists.
