Disneyland’s neighbor is Adventure City. It’s a smaller theme park, yet it’s full of family entertainment. Attractions include Rescue Ride (what it’s like to be a fire fighter or police officer), Balloon Race (eight colorful balloons), Barnstormer Planes, Freeway Coaster, Rewind Racers, Crank ‘n’ Roll, Express Train, Crazy Bus, Carousel (vintage 1946 with 20 carousel horses), Drop Zone, Giggle Wheel, Petting Farm, Mount Adventurous (rock climbing tower), Arcade, Stage 39 (live performance shows), and Uptown Cool Down.

Anaheim Ducks(hockey team)

The Anaheim Ducks are a professional ice hockey team based in Anaheim, California. The Ducks compete in the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division and play their home games at Honda Center. The team was founded in 1993 by the Walt Disney Company as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a name based on the 1992 film The Mighty Ducks. In 2005, Disney sold the franchise to Henry and Susan Samueli, who, along with then-general manager Brian Burke, changed the name of the team to the Anaheim Ducks before the 2006–07 season.

Flightdeck Flight Simulation Center at Anaheim Garden Center

The simulation center helps you learn to fly without ever leaving the Earth. While it may be the only time you will ever be able to “fly a jet,” any opportunity to take control of an F-16 should never be passed up. The instructors tend to be retired airline pilots or within a range of technical fields, but the overall concept is predicated on allowing your imagination to run wild.

Founder’s Park

The park highlights two impressive historic homes that have been favorite school field trip destinations for nearly 50 years. The 1857 Mother Colony House is one of Anaheim's earliest homes. The Woelke-Stoffel House is a two-story Queen Anne home built in 1894 during Anaheim's citrus era. Visitors will enjoy expansive shade from the heritage Moreton Bay Fig tree while exploring park walkways and trails through a recreated 19th century landscape.

Jack Norworth Memorial Marker
Melrose Abbey Cemetery, 2303 S. Manchester Ave., Anaheim, CA
Jack Norworth, the lyricist for the 1908 American baseball anthem, “Take Me Out To The Ball Game,” died in 1959 and was buried half a mile from where Angel Stadium would be built in 1966, at the Melrose Abbey Cemetery in Anaheim, Calif. In the hopes of saving a little piece of history and recognizing this man, concerned fans got together in 2010 and built a memorial for Norworth near the gravesite. A large piece of black granite now stands about 100 feet from his headstone, with a photo of the songwriter, and the lyrics to his beloved song.

Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm started as a berry stand by the side of the road and a restaurant serving chicken dinners. It all began more than a century ago, during the 1920s. Spend the day riding the giant roller coasters, watching adventures of the Old West, and even getting a hug from Snoopy, the most beloved beagle in the world. Be sure to experience the Old West Ghost Town. Witness as the 1880s comes to life with real gunfighting cowboys. Ride on an authentic stagecoach or take a ride on a real steam engine and pan for gold! You can even watch an old western-type show with real can-can dancers. Take an excursion when you ride the Calico River Rapids. Rafters meet up with several surprises in the wild, such as indigenous wildlife, whimsical homesteaders, and even some real roaring rapids. In addition, check out the Silver Bullet – an Old West-themed steel roller coaster that is inverted for more thrills of the Ghost Town.

Noguchi Garden, California Scenario

Commissioned by the Segerstrom family in 1979 and completed in 1982, Isamu Noguchi’s California Scenario is recognized as one of the country’s preeminent sculpture gardens and the most vital publicly accessible outdoor sculpture oasis in Southern California. One of the artist’s most important public sculpture gardens, its design symbolizes various geographical characteristics of California, incorporating indigenous plants and materials.

Oak Canyon Nature Center

Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park nestled in the Anaheim Hills. A year-round stream meanders through the park. Consisting of three adjoining canyons, four miles of hiking trails traverse one of the few remaining areas of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub in our region. Native wildlife makes the canyon their home and is just waiting to be discovered. Also located on site is the John J. Collier Interpretive Center, a small museum with live animals and regional natural history exhibits.

Ralph B. Clark Regional Park

Recreational activities include large, shaded picnic areas, hiking and biking trails, and children's playground areas. Team sports enthusiasts can enjoy spacious play areas, including two sand volleyball courts, three softball fields and a baseball diamond. Children of all ages can enjoy fishing in the stocked three-acre lake. Four tennis courts are located within the park and an amphitheater that overlooks the lake, is perfect for outdoor plays and recreation programs. The Interpretive Center contains a paleontology museum that provides an educational view of prehistoric Orange County through exhibits, programs, and guided tours. Also, the opportunity is provided to watch scientists and volunteers excavate and prepare fossil specimens for study and educational exhibits.

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen

Seascape is a facility meant to tire out your children so you can peacefully explore the rest of Anaheim. There are ball pits and pizza pies for everyone, and the only downside is that you may be too big to have fun as well! Watching the children in your group jump around the bouncy house or slide down the huge tunnels over and over again is worth every second. Before you venture over to Seascape, however, don’t forget to wear socks, as they are required to enter the play areas, and please have everyone who is participating dressed in pants to avoid friction burn on your way down the rubber slide.

Yorba Regional Park
